Most departments offer advice and guidelines on how to present your written assignments but you should be aware that the requirements may vary from one department to another.

B There are two formal examination periods each year: first semester period beginning in June and the second semester period beginning in November. Additionally, individual departments may examine at other times and by various methods such as “take-home” exams, assignments, oral and practical work, and so on.

C If you feel your performance in an examination has been adversely affected by illness or misadventure, you should talk to the course Co-ordinator in your department and complete an appropriate form. Each case is considered on its own merits.
